I congratulate you on your professional holiday, the Day of Mining and Metals Workers of the Republic of Uzbekistan! Every day of heroic work, you lay a solid foundation for strengthening the national economy, enhancing our country ' s credibility in the international arena and increasing the well-being of our citizens. Your labour, perseverance and professionalism have made the mining and metallurgical complex of the leading sector of Uzbekistan ' s economy.

One year later, President I.A.Karimov, among the priorities of the country ' s socio-economic development, notes the strategic importance of mountains.metallurgical industry♪ Through its visionary and wise policies, it has become the largest area of capital, resources, innovative technologies and scientific ideas.

Overcoming the difficulties of recent years caused by a large global financial and economic crisis, we have been able to prove that the NSA team is capable not only of carrying out public tasks, but also of actively working for the future by introducing new technologies in its offices and units, establishing new equipment through a large-scale programme of technical and technological rebuilding.

I can say with certainty that we have something to be proud of. With the continued attention of the Head of State to our combination, we have the opportunity to build new businesses, develop new deposits, increase mining and processing of ore, thereby increasing the production of finished products, strengthening the country ' s economy and the well-being of all workers in the NGC and their families. The localization programme, which is being implemented by our companion, saves thousands of dollars both in our enterprise and in general in the country. We are expanding not only basic production, but we also focus on housing and social development and the production of public goods.
