However, the demand for tanium compounds for black anilin has soon declined sharply and production has declined significantly.

But at the beginning of the First World War, chemists again had to turn to element No. 23. Over the years, fighting countries have demanded huge quantities of sulphuric acid. It's not possible to get a nitrocelett on the basis of the gunpowder. It is known that sulphuric acid is oxidized by sulphuric anhydride SO2 sulphur anhydride SO3 with subsequent water accession. However, SO2 directly with oxygen reacts very slowly. The sulphuric anhydride may occur when the nitrogen dioxide is restored (this reaction is based on nitrosive sulphuric acid production method), but the cleaner and concentrated acid is produced if the SO2 oxidation response in SO3 is carried out in the presence of some solid catalysts (contact production method).
